16/01/06 BURGERS AND GEISHAS

Bought a Carl's Junior Mushroom Burger Combo yesterday, changed the fries to criss-cut fries. The meal costs about $12! Expensive right.



The mushroom inside quite juicy and slippery smooth, beef patty is slightly softer and thicker than BK's. The criss cut fries is goooood, very crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They have this salsa thingy (that little saucer) made of green , red pepper and onions which Ros Yucks to, but I quite like.

This is about how big the burger is, compare with the size of Ros' thumb :p You know they give out plastic knives for people who wanna share so they can use it to half the burger. So almost every table gets a plastic knife, so environmentally NOT friendly! Carl's Junior should just help their customer slice the burgers what...hai*

Talking about HUGE USA portions, I think of my last trip to Billy Bomber's. Me and Ros got free cheesy fries that look more like wedges, plus ordered their largest burger. Wanna see the amazing yummy fries?

The amount of cheese dip ! Gosh! And the fries were all thicker than my fingers, so crispy and fat! It was really too much by the way, we could never finish it so we ended up leaving a lot uneaten.

What's left. (notice all the cheese dip has been licked away by me, wahahahahahaha)

This is Billy Bomber's largest burger, got TWO sunny side ups, cheese, bacon, ham, tomato, lettuce, pickles and super thick beef patty. I forgot the price though, but definitely more expensive lah! Duh!

SUPER HAWAIIAN WITH CHEESY LAVA CRUST

Okie just for fun and since we're talking about food. This is me and Feng's favourite pizza which meimei's bf Bengleng treated us to on Christmas! wWoOoOoh, the different types of melted cheese all oOzing out of the holes in the crust.

Hey! How come all food and no geishas! Keke, ok Memoirs of the Geisha was better than I expected. Though Zhang Ziyi's face totally don't match the perfect beauty Chiyo that was portrayed in the book, Gong Li was a stunner. She's the best Hatsumomo we can find I think.

Young little chiyo is such a lovely pretty little girl. This movie is a bit like the opposite of the Harry Potter Movie, because the scene of the dance is much filmed with much more grandeur and fireworks and exaggeration than the book. In HP, the dance was filmed to be such a floppy lame scene, quite different from what's written. I would so much prefer if every thing's just nice, but well nothing is perfect.

This is the most Japanese outfit I can find, coupled with my hair, I tried looking a bit more jap than ZZY's scary poster.

Feng suggested something after that picture, I was afraid of being laughed at by passer-bys but we really couldn't resist the temptation of doing it! It was just there, so big a pair...at my eye-level somemore, beckoning to us, just had to do it quickly!!!!!!! *shy*
